Another New Years Resolution

One of my resolutions this year, is to create a more "grown up" apartment. I didn't realize how hard this is going to be. Mainly because I like way too many motifs. I think this is why I never took decorating my surroundings very seriously. Once I buy something home related, I always see an inspirational photo of something I like better. Do I want Scandinavian minimalism, Eclectic, Modern, Traditional? There are too many to choose from!!

I've been waiting to see this movie for like...months!!! And of course it's not showing hardly anywhere. I guess I'll just have to wait until Dec 22, when it goes into wide release.

Simple

I don't usually post pictures of people from other blogs, and I also tend to refrain from reading the blogs of those who are rich and affluent(basically I try to avoid things that make me feel inferior about my life and the things I have). However, I stumbled across Gala Gonzale'z blog (one which I haven't read in quite sometime), and totally fell in love with this look. Granted, her style hasn't changed much in 4 years, but there is just something about this outfit. I dunno.

Really Dig This

So, the last week of July, I gave myself an early birthday present (a three day trip to Manhattan), and had the TIME OF MY LIFE! I am OBSESSED with NYC, and if I don't end up living there at some point in my life, I don't know what I'll do.
Anyway, I stayed in this really cute hotel in SOHO and was within walking distance to just about everything I love about the city. These 2 outfits remind me of some of the great style I saw while I was roaming around.

I totally have all the pieces in my closet to re-create the Gwyneth outfit...I have no shame.
